Your cartoner is running great when you start to develop inconsistent carton set up problems.

Usually several minor issues are the cause of the problems.

Checkout the simplest yet often the reason for carton set up problems.

1. Check for worn, loose or split vacuum cups.

2. Check for the correct amount of vacuum at the suction cups. Should be 23inches of vacuum or slightly more.

3. Less than desirable amount of vacuum can also be caused by damaged cups, loose or split vacuum lines, build up of carton dust somewhere in the system.

4. If proper amount of vacuum is confirmed, other issues such as carton timing, or worn components may be the issue.
